Technical Support Specialist (all genders)

About us:

We develop, manufacture and supply turnkey testing systems for the plastic packaging industry. And have been doing so for 25 years. 

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Technical Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to industrial high-end vision inspection systems, computer systems and automation technologies. You will work directly with customers to provide exceptional support, ensuring timely and effective solutions to their technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background with hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting and industrial systems. Strong communication skills in English are essential, and fluency in Spanish is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with customer support platforms such as ZenDesk are highly desirable

Your Tasks \ Do what you love:

• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and support tickets.

• Diagnoses, troubleshoot, and repair industrial computer hardware and software issues.

• Accurately document support cases and resolutions using ZenDesk or other CRM tools.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve complex technical problems.

• Provide clear, effective communication with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

• Assist in creating and updating support documentation and troubleshooting guides.

• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting, documentation, and internal communication.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s product line and related technologies.

• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new products and technologies.

• Travel to local and international customer locations as needed, up to 25%.

Your Profile \ Show us what you got:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support, industrial computer repair, or a related field

• Strong understanding of industrial computer systems and automation technologies.

• Proficient Spanish language is a plus.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general Windows environment.

• Experience with customer service tools such as ZenDesk is a strong advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.

• Valid US Driver License

• Familiarity with industrial automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, etc.).

• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).

• Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and component-level repairs and computer hardware.
